I'm working with an 128MB IBM MO connected to an 1542b.
A friend works with an 128MB FUYUTSU MO.

All works fine except a " sd1: Unit attention
			  sd1: illegal request
			  could not mode sense (4) for unit 1
			  using ficticious geometry "
sometimes.

My additions to /sys/scsi/scsiconf.c:
(find location " #if NSD > 0")

{ T_OPTICAL, T_REMOV, "standart","any"
		,"any",sdattach,"sd",SC_ONE_LU },

that's it.

Have fun.
