I'm a very happy user of BSD/386. I spent my money and am happy with the system.

You can get info from BSDi's ftp site - bsdi.com

As for speed... I've not compared against other systems. It would expect it to
be similar to 386BSD and NetBSD as all three are based on the UCB Net-2 tape.

The speed of apps will also depend on the C compiler you use - if you get
source. gcc 2.4.5 ports easly - did that last night.


It's also very stable - but then so are 386BSD and NetBSD...
