Howdy!
I will be picking up an EtherNet card with my system in a few
weeks, and am going to have to decide what card to get. Thus,
I figured I'd get a list of all the cards that people are using,
and then post any results I get.
Therefore, if you are running and Ethernet card with your
[386|Net]bsd system, please fill out the following little
form, and mail it to me. I'll post the results within a week
or so, depending on how many responses I get:
If one or two fields eludes you, please send in the form anyway.
Card Name:
Manufacturer:
Model #:
Type: {Thick/Thin/Twisted Pair/other}
Cost: {approx if you don't remember}
Vendor:
Performance: KB/s, or just "fast", "Slow as a snail", if you don't know.
OS: {NetBSD/386bsd, etc...}---Does it require special drivers, or not.
Problems: {Did it work right from the start, or did you have
major problems getting it to cooperate.}
Toodlepip!
Marc 'em.
