But all printers having started is the default after lpd start. (And
lpd is usually being started by /etc/rc, there's a couple of lines.)
Don't forget to set up you /etc/printcap, especially you'll have to
create the error log file (file name in /etc/printcap), if it ain't
already there, create it as an empty file (with right permissions
for lpd to write there). Check /var/log/messages, any trouble with
lpd is reported there.
