I have installed Linux for 2 months but I found that it was less useful to
me than I have hoped. I tried to do my CS programming homework twice with
no luck. There is no "socket" in Linux (which I think follow System V).
Also, the memory management (mprotect) is different from BSD. I must say
that Linux has been a stable and well-supported UNIX but unfortunately I am
so stuck with BSD.
