I have my system set up using slip. The system is
stock with the exception of slattach. I have a copy
of slattach that I got from agate.berkley.edu under
the from-ref directory. It came with various scripts
to dial up under slip. Anyway it seems to work just fine
on ftp's and rcp going to my machine. But for some
mysterious reason I can't get an ftp going to a remote
site. For FTP it times out and gives a message

	Connection reset by peer.

The RCP's just hang. Does anyone have an idea
whats going on? Has anyone seen a similar behavior

TIA
