Yes, but still a `private port', done by Amancio Hasty Jr., contact
<hasty@netcom.com>. The stuff for some accelerated boards is gonna
be merged into XFree86 release 2.0, to come late summer.

G++ is memory-intensive, depending on the program you compile. But
if you have a fast swap partition (note: unlike Linux, BSD uses only
a single partition from the DOS point of view, and creates subpart-
itions), and avoid hunting with your mouse across the screen while
you're compiling, this should not cause extensive performance loss
(since most of the X apps can be paged out).

Fairly good. Fine, old 4.3BSD stuff. Some kinda reference for any
IP implementation.
