Im not sure if this is a bug in 386bsd or elm (or neither, then im the bug :)

If you #define TEMPNAM in elm, it uses the system tempnam() function,
It is not compatible with the elm-provided version.

the systemversion does  "%s/%s" while the elmversion does "%s%s" giving
the / itself. Took me a whole evening of poking around to find :)
