As a BSDI customer (with a support agreement, even), if I find a problem or
something I suspect to be a problem in the BSDI product, I'll contact BSDI for
technical support.

On the other hand, if I'd like to know if package "foo" has been ported to a
386-based, BSD-derived operating system, or if anyone has a driver for a Matrox
Impression 1024 under X, or similar, I'll ask it where a wider audience will
see it - here. Likewise, if I were to write/port a package or driver, I'd post
the announcement here, again to reach a wider audience.
