Hi. I've got NetBSD-0.8 running (sort of) smoothly. I've got one thing
though..(actually many, but I'll just put this one here now :)
My kernel seems to hang an awful lot. The only sumptoms I can ses are that
it occasionally happens during an ftp session, but that's not always the case.
The reason I'm asking here is that a friend of mine who is also running NetBSD
had the same problems. He said that he deduced some problem with the 3c503
driver, and changed his Enet card to NE2000. He told me that he hasn't had a
problem since. There are some other strange things happening such as logging
into console and something about
no job control (some ioctl error or another).

He suggested that I take the 3c503 driver code from 386BSD-0.1 and put it in
NetBSD, b/c he never had any such problems with the old version.
Thanx for any input...alex...
