Hi,

emacs 19.10 compiles out of the box with minor changes to
src/s/bsd4-3.h (added #define PENDING_OUTPUT_COUNT (FILE)
 ((FILE)->_p - (FILE)->_bf._base).

But if emacs has been started one can't insert any char ... :(
Emacs and the whole system is frozen and you only can reset the machine.

System: 386-33, 8 MB, NETBSD-0.8, Kernel is configured as
GENERICISA + QUOTA, SLIP, SCSI, FIFO, FDESC and without
IDE support and any ether device. I have build emacs with
original gcc 1.38(9) of NetBsd-0.8 distribution and with self
build gcc 2.4.3.
NO change. Also i've tried it with bsd-4.2. Emacs has been
configed as 'i386-unknown-bsd4-2(3) --srcdir=./'.

Any ideas? Thanx in advance for your response ... :)

Bye,
      Klaus
