They fixed the applications.  Funny to believe DEC did something right with
Ultrix, eh?

To the guy who suggested using ESC - thanks, but I have it working that
way already.  As far as I'm concerned, however, ESC is a very poor
substitute and I'm generally inclined to give up on META before I'll
stoop to whacking on the ESC key.
