I'm usually to be found at gtoal@gtoal.com except when my mail forwarder
has been hacked and is out of commision for a week or two :-(

No, I never managed to port Wais last time I tried it.  As you say,
gopher was easy.  I haven't done much 386bsd porting for a long time,
since my system seems stable enough for me and I've got too much
real work to catch up on :-(  When I need wais nowadays I telnet to
a public client...
