Subject: How do I permanently set date/time (without DOS)

How do I set the date/time on 386bsd so it's remembered across a power-off?
The date command I have doesn't seem to reset the CMOS clock. And I *can't*
do it from DOS (Trust me, I *really* can't - it's a long story involving
monitor types and invisible screens etc)

Is there a 386bsd program yet which will do this?

Many thanks

Graham
PS I've moved house and SLIP access now costs me too much to afford to read
news at home; would you mind (R)eplying with the answer please?
