Thanks to all the people whose suggestions helped me get my printer
working. All I had to do was add :sh: to the printcap entry. I also
installed the psf filters and it is working fine. But ...

I have some more questions. I promise not to ask any more questions for
some time.

I would like to use fig2ps2tex in transfig. It needs dc. Has somebody
ported dc to 386bsd? I found bc in unofficial/from-ref directory on
agate. I guess I can use it as a substitute for dc. For this the script
fig2ps2tex needs to be changed. Has anybody already done this?

Also, currently I use dvialw to create a postscript file to print. Does
dvips compile without any problems or do I need to apply any patches?

Thanks for your time and responses.

Natraj.
