Hi all, I've got NetBSD installed just peachy. I have a 3Com 3C503/16 card in
my machine. It has a BNC ("internal", CoAx) and a DIX ("external", 15 pin)
ports on it. I'm shuffling my machine between 2 networks. One is coax, and
the other is Twisted Pair. I bought a Twisted pair tranciever that i hook up
to the DIX port. The problem is that there is a *software* setting to use the
external DIX port instead of the BNC port. right now I dont' know how to do
that. I've been told that it might be in the driver for the card, or in
ifconfig. I don't have enough space to gunzip the src08 distribution set, so
I need the source for ifconfig so that I can get look at it and see if I can
figure anything out. I probably won't anyway. If anybody could help by
sending me the ifconfig source, and whatever source drives the 3c503 card. or
if anybody knows how to set the port, I would be forever in debt. As it
stands now, I can't put my machine in its final home. :(
Thanx...alex...
