I have a small problem which has existed since the introduction of
patchkit 0.2.3. Basically, I'l be working away and the system will hang as I
attempt to start another program. Observing top, the memory free figure will
have dropped to 0. Wired, active & inactive are still pretty much as they
were. In another window, the last swapinfo reports that onyly 40-75% of
myswap has been used. The system is an 8Mb 20MHz 386sx, with two IDE drives
(CP30104 (121Mb) and cp3040 (40Mb) with two swap partitions - 5Mb on the
cp30104 and 12Mb on the cp3040. It is running X (although crashes g`have
been observed sans X, and can be quite easily provoked. I even re-installed
from scratch & appliaed all the patches. Any clues?
