The drive is a Miniscribe 9380E. The geometry is 1224 cylinders, 15 heads,
and 34-36 tracks with a native format. Use DiskManager to format it without
translation. The last two cylinders are not available (they're used to store
ESDI formatting info and manufacturer's defect lists).

I can send you jumper information if you like. I have one of these drives
and pretty complete docco. I'm using the Ultrastor 12F, though.

I think so, but it should be jumperable.

Bad144 doesn't work in 386BSD. It's supposed to work with the Barsoom WD
driver in NetBSD... I'll find out when I get a copy downloaded.
