Subject: Kernel needed

I think I need a particular Kernel for my (crazy) HD controller.

The controller (a WD hardware emulation on SCSI: I'm sure
of that, no BIOS emulation), doesn't answer to the IDENTIFY CMD
request (I checked it with ide_conf), so the standard kernel
(as contained in dist.fs) it is not able to find the disk label.

I think that what I need is a Kernel with hardcoded parameters
for wd0 (730 Cyl, 16 Heads, 55 Sectors). I mean, should be enough
to change the wd driver where the it gets the wd0 (drive 0) parameters,
hardcode my values and recompile the kernel (may I suppose that
standard kernel do the trick the same way of ide_conf?).

Using Julian boot blocks (I managed to obtain them), I'm able
to boot the kernel from the hard disk. If I can have a kernel
that know my disk parameters, things have to work.

Any body may do that for me?

Thank in advance, Peppe
