Beta testers are sought for a new wt.c.

The driver can handle QIC-02/QIC-36 Wangtek and Archive SC499 controllers.
The controller type is automatically determined at boot time.

It has been tested on a Wangtek compatible Everex controller
and tape drive (models unknown and docs missing), and on an
Archive SC499 controller with an FT-60 tape drive.

The only serious problem I'm having is when using
bde's npx, intr and com patches, the machine spontaneously
resets itself without warning when writing to the tape.
(no panic, just like pressing RESET or ctl-alt-del)
It usually happens after writing around half
the tape. I didn't find any other problem with bde's patches.

The driver works fine with patchkit-0.2.2, but if bde's patches
are to be included in future patchkits, it would be nice to have this
problem fixed.
(I know 0.2.3 is available, but I haven't had any free time to upgrade)

If you would like to help me test/debug the driver, send me mail and I will
mail the source to you.
