I'm having trouble getting my CompuAdd mouse to work with XFree86-1.2.
The trouble is that the mouse pointer jumps hapharzardly on the
screen, if at all. I'm guessing that this might be a baud rate
problem. Do serial mouses operate at just one speed? Anyway, I tried
300,1200,2400,4800 and 9600 and a mouse definition of "ps/2", which is
what CompuAdd told me their mouse emulates. Didn't work, so then I
tried the various combinations of mouse types. Still no joy.

My configuration: 0.1 + 0.2.3 patchkit

Any ideas?

Thanks
