I found a reference in the FAQ that Julian's new boot blocks
may solve my problem with my WD/SCSI controller Card.

Actually "ide_conf" get an error while trying to get
the HD geometry speaking directly with the Controller
(it is correct by BIOS).

The normal boot block has the fancy idea that my disk
is 1024/16/55 instead of 730/16/55 and 386bsd doesn't boot
from the HD.

If I understand correctly to get the new boot blocks
on a my HD I should boot from the floppy and install
from there (chrooting to HD after relabeling).

Anybody my provide me with a reference where found
a dist.fs ot fixit.fs diskette with Julian's new boot
blocks in place?

Thank in advance, Peppe
