I don't find a "ty" capability for printcap.

Also, there is no "ld" capability documented in printcap.

Maybe it's time to do a "man printcap" ? :-), it should
be possible to use a combination of the fc/fs and/or xc/xs
capabilities to get it right, if you use the Deskjet on the
serial line.
Another possibility would be to write a simple filter and
specify it as the "of" filter in printcap.
