I didn't find this in the FAQ so...

I want to be able to use either SLIP or PPP to connect to
another site. I have a few questions about this...

1. What is the difference between PPP and SLIP? Which is
   better?

2. I will be connecting to the other site via a modem.
slattach does not provide a means of dialling the number,
so how do I do this?

3. What is a typical slattach command line?

4. If I need extra tools from which FTP sites can I get them?

5. How do I stop a connection once I have finished with it?

Any help would be most welcome, if I get enough so I know what
I'm talking about, I'll post of an FAQ entry to Max.
