I have put a prototype shared library package in the /tmp directory of
src.doc.ic.ac.uk. If it has been wiped from there, you will be able
to get it from dale.chu.cam.ac.uk, in /pub, but this machine is not
always switched on (afternoons and evenings UK time only).

This is an alpha release; please DON'T download it if you want a nice,
reliable shared library package. DON'T download it if you can't hack
around a bit to try to make it work, and can report bugs that you
find. DON'T rebuild your whole system with these shared libraries, or
you may get one of those bad surprises... :-)

I hope you have fun, and that in time we can deprive the Linux people
of one of their major arguments...
