Unfortunately 386BSD doesn't do shared libraries *yet*. Having said that
Pete Chown has just announced an alpha release of shared libs so it is
obviously well on the way. I too would really like to reclaim some of
my disk and memory!

Sorry I have no answer on your other question about 'shutdown -todos'.
Do you have a wierd DOS? Unfortunately I can't find the source to that
proggy to have a dig around and see what the message means.
