Back to my ever lasting 2 drive problem:

System: stock 386bsd-0.1 + 0.2.3 IALL applied.

This is the drive I'm using:

qp230at|Quantum Peripherals 230MB IDE:\
	:dt=ESDI:ty=winchester:se#512:nt#13:ns#51:nc#723:sf: \
	:pa#379349:oa#0:ta=4.2BSD:ba#4096:fa#512: \
	:pb#100000:ob#379349:tb=swap: \
	:pc#479349:oc#0: \
	:ph#479349:oh#0:th=4.2BSD:bh#4096:fh#512:

This is what I got from wd0 as it is working:

# /dev/rwd0d:
type: ESDI
disk: ESDI/IDE
label: A01X
flags:
bytes/sector: 512
sectors/track: 51
tracks/cylinder: 13
sectors/cylinder: 663
cylinders: 723
rpm: 3600
interleave: 1
trackskew: 0
cylinderskew: 0
headswitch: 0 # milliseconds
track-to-track seek: 0	# milliseconds
drivedata: 0

3 partitions:
# size offset fstype [fsize bsize cpg]
  a: 427635 0 4.2BSD 1024 8192 16 # (Cyl. 0 - 644)
  b: 50000 427635 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 645 - 720*)
  c: 478686 0 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0 - 721)

I then did a

disklabel -r -w wd1 qp230at

newfs /dev/rwd0h

and

/etc/fstab:

/dev/wd0a / ufs rw 1 1
/dev/wd1h /u ufs rw 1 2

mount /dev/wd1h /u

Initially, everything looked fine, df gave me reasonable values. Then I
rebooted and right after the fsck I got: wd1: disk has no label. and fsck
failed.Do fsck manually. etc..

Does anyone see the culprit? Any missing parititions, wrong values?
