I've got a situation where I'd like to run a machine
where I can telnet in via ethernet on one side and
out via a modem on the other side.  The machine
itself will be located about 60 miles from
the site here (can you say "bypass?" :-)

I'd be interested in exchanging notes with someone
who is doing this...

Incidentally, my thanks to the group here in general!
After a somewhat difficult time in bringing up my
386 system, it's been pretty bulletproof for about
10 weeks continueous running on .1 with the first major set
of patches (brought up about March 1st or so).
It's survived several power outages and has successfully
brought itself back up a number of times.
