Arg! After my long and horrendous disk battle, I finally go the whole system
up with no damage to /usr (just to the root partition).
But now I can't seem to compile anything (signal 10, fatal) for some
reason. Seems like this was a problem a long time ago, but I may be
wrong. Can't remember how to fix it; did a patch do it?
Also, my system boots up single user, and upong exiting the shell, it
starts /etc/rc, but not with the autoboot flag. What am I doing wrong/
do I need to install a new disklabel, is that the problem?
(i.e. secondary bootstrap). Thanks a million, I'm ready to be done with
the system crash altogether.
PS: if anyone wants help on restoring a system with deleted partitioning,
etc... I have a bit of experience in the area and would be glad to help.
