I am running simulations under 386bsd which allocate and deallocate memory. I
have tried and tested the simulations under dos, and unix on a sun
workstation without problems. When running on the 386bsd, my simulations
run concurrently without any problems. However when system compilations are done
by the system administrator, or other system operations are performed under root
the system either crashes or dumps a core file of my process. Has anyone
experienced a similar problem under 386bsd, or can offer any idea as to what
may be the reason for this conflict. I suspect that it is memory related, but
 can find no logical explaination.

 Thanks in advance
