Where can I get it? You already HAVE it. Its inside that huge gzipped patchkit you have. Ironic isn't it? So you can either ftp the source from prep.ai.mit.edu, yes its one of 'em GNU stuff :-) or look in the site where you got the patchkit, if they have the kit expanded the binary you need is .../patch/bin/gzip (the same binary compresses and decompress, run it with gzip +help to see a summry of options).
