I know. You're still missing the point.

This isn't about what the FSF or anyone else does with BSD.

This is about whether or not 386BSD or NetBSD should GPL it, directly or
by using GPL code in the kernel.

It all started when someone started bitching about BSD not using some GPL-
protected driver. One of the BSD people explained why, and was promptly
flamed. Bringing up what other people might do with BSD is a complete
digression.

If I use the GPL, I have restricted my work, so I don't use the GPL. If you
want to flame me, be sure you know what you're flaming me about.

It's not about what you do with our code, it's about what we do with our
code.
