Thanks to the kind and quick reply from Jaye Mathisen (I hope I
spelled your name right...) I am up and running...

His advice was to make c: and d: refer to the whole disk and mess with
the other partitions...

So I set up a: as the first 400 cylinders, b as the last 64 and e: as
everything in between...

Now all I need to do is remake my kernel to support a second swap
device and I'll really be cooking.. (or something)

NOTE:::

I would still like to see a method for determining partition sizes,
etc. and a detailed manual on disklabeling. I realize these things
might be in one of the various books mentioned in the release notes,
but being somewhat hackerish, I keep night hours, and those darn
bookstores keep day hours... And they want you to PAY for things...
:-)

In any case, if people would reply by e-mail, I will summarize to
here, and send off a copy to TSgt Dave, Our wonderful FAQ maintainer.
