Hello all,

Has anyone succeeded in cross-compiling binaries for 386bsd, especially
on SunOS4/5? The compiler (gcc 2.3.3) works ok, but the linker seems
to mess up (at least) the symbol table; the binaries won't execute on
a 386bsd system (gdb complains about a string table size of 1.9GByte...).

When linking the cross-compiled object file on the PC, everything looks fine,
though.

Our setup: gcc 2.3.3, gas 2.0, binutils 2.1
	   all configured with:
		--host=sparc-sun-solaris2 --target=i486-unknown-bsd

Would be a nice idea, I thought...

Greetings,
	Torsten
