Well, i figured it was the bios also, but I was wrong.
I tried yet another boot floppy and it seemed to work okay.
But there's still a problem...

I managed to swap the kernel with one of my previous one's and I managed to
gain access to the console. That's cool for now.

Here's the but...
The machine still doesn't allow any internet access. The ftpd and telnetd
aren't even running after bootup. Things happenned this way:
I was on the machine the previous day and everything was working perfectly.
I, nor anyone else, rebooted the machine until the problem the next day
when I started getting complaints. Then I posted my message.
Since, I've gotten the console to work but no network. I've booted it with
a DOS disk and loaded the netware modules and got to our Novell network just
fine. So the board is okay.

Now the problem is... did the system change any of the /etc config files?
I've gone through the hard drive with a comb and there's no bad sectors and
no errors on bootup. I've checked the dates on all the /etc config files
and they haven't been touched in over a month.

Any new ideas to get it to allow telnet & ftp access? (I've tried loading the
daemons manually after bootup and that's a no go also)
