My apologies if this isn't the correct group, but I cannot find any 386bsd
specific group in my active file...
I am pretty new to 386bsd (but not to unix), and I just finished installing
it and compiling my applications, when I suddendly discovered that
(apparently) there is no FIFO support in the binaary distribution kernel!
mkfifo(1) just says 'operation not supported', the relative syscall also fails.

My question: is there a way to reconfigure kernel without having the full
sources on the disk? Or there is something I am missing?

Please send me email, because I don't get this group regularly.

Thanks...

Rick
