I came across an extra IDE controller and drive, and I managed to compile
the kernal to recognize the second controller, but I developed a rather
serious problem... What are the major/minor device numbers for the
second IDE card? I tried several possibilities, the last of which trashed
my first drive. Time for a reinstall...

Stuff:
NetBSD 0.8
486 DX2 66 20megs
1st IDE: 202 meg/ 170meg (IRQ 14; I/O 1F0-1F7, 3F0-3F7)
2nd IDE: 102 meg (IRQ 5; I/O 170-177, 370-377)

I understand that this is far from the optimal means to add drive space, but
in my particular circumstances, it was mighty cheap (trading some extra
hardware).

Anybody who knows how to set this up without eating drives please let me
know. Thanks in advance!

Cheers.
