	I had much the same expereince as you had.  I switched to NetBSD
becasue, they are actually not *that* different.
	I suspect this will be the case until something major happens,
like 386bsd 0.2 finally coming out, or Chris changing NetBSD to be
way incompatible.

(note that this is advice to a new user with little hard space who wants
 a stable system without a lot of hassle.  This doesn't mean i think
NetBSD is better
