Configuration: 486DX-50 U4600 chipset 256 Kb cache Conner CP3174E 170 MB 8 MB memory AMI bios 386BSD 0.1 (distfs and patched 0.2.1 on HD) Problem: There is entry named 'Cache Memory Select' in AMI-bios 'advanced CMOS setup'. Options are 'Disabled', 'Internal', 'Both'. If cache is enabled (internal or both) 386BSD can't find HD. If cache is disabled 386BSD working well but computer is very SLOW !! cache option computing index DOS find HD 386BSD find HD 'Both' 107,5 YES NO 'Internal' 95,2 YES NO 'Disabled' 12,7 !!!
