I have sent FAQ_0[0123] to comp.os.386bsd.announce to release by cgd.
It wasn't until I sent them that I realized that Chris is out of town
until the week-end. Sorry 'bout that.

I have placed these FAQs on my host (hrd769.brooks.af.mil) and they are
available for anonymous FTP.

As far as FAQ development goes, there has been a lot going on here.
Specifically my job. I have not had the four or five hours a night I have
been planning to spend on the FAQs. In spite of that, we ARE making progress.

FAQ_04, FAQ_09, and FAQ_10 are all out for preliminary development. In
addition, I am nearly finished with FAQ_06 (a couple more weeks). FAQ_05,
FAQ_07, and FAQ_08 are all available for work, if anyone wants to join in.

FAQ_05 is about kernel replacement parts. This should include things like
a list of common major/minor numbers and other information about writing,
debugging, and installing device drivers. Any takers? I am clueless!

FAQ_07 is about communications, including TCP/IP, UUCP, and about every
other system level comm project available. NO ONE has expressed an
interest in this section, except for Lynne, who wants us to be sure to
tell everyone how to install UUCP.

FAQ_08 is about known working hardware. Go for it. The section on tape
drives is done.

If you have any questions or comments about the FAQ, feel free to contact
me by E-Mail. PLEASE do not post changes to the FAQ to the net, unless you
absolutely have to. Posting new questions and answers to the net will, of
course, be GREATLY appreciated.
