Having successfully installed NetBSD and convincing it all to work with
DOS co-resident on the disk (thanks to those who helped), I'm now faced
with installing XFree386-1.2.

The only details I know of the hardware is that it is a DELL 433s/M PC
with DELL UltraScan monitor. On power-on the machine says it has a
'Quadtel S3 86C801/86C805 Enhanced VGA BIOS'. That's all I know about
the hardware.

I tried a few 'ChipSet' entries. 'et4000' seemed to work the best.
The mouse didn't work (it's a Logitech mouse which doesn't plug into
either COM port, rather it has it's own) and the screen as presented
was the standard X background with many copies of the same xterm
vertically displaced.

This is all magic to me. Any help would be appreciated. I have the PC
till Saturday so if anyone has installed this on a Dell then please get
in touch! I just hope the friend I am doing this for appreciates all
this work I'm putting in!

Cheers,
Dave.
