Note, gzip1.07 (the copy from bsd.coe) is in patch kit 0.2.3, the sources
live in /usr/src/contrib, this is part of the patch that adds /usr/src/contrib
to the standard source tree.  ahhh grep contrib /patch/installed/PATCH..
PATCH00114 does this.

A soon to be release patch kit patch will upgrade tar to the one from bsd.coe.
