I was working on the former as a intro to the latter, but I got stuck.
When I get the time to work on these again, I probably will.  Terry
Lambert was also doing this.

(I'm currently working on multicast routing, for those who are
interested in that sort of thing.  I hope to have something that at
least compiles soon.)

I was thinking about doing this, too, but I suspect that someone else
will have a completed version before I get around to thinking about
it.
