Tortured analogy at best. If AT&T didn't know about the suit before it
was filed (and I doubt this), and they didn't want the suit, they
could have forced USL to drop it on day 2. They didn't.

The relationship between AT&T and USL is not the same as between an
owner and a dog. 

AT&T cann't claim not to have wanted the suit, since as owner of more
than 51 percent of the stock, they could have stopped it any any time,
especially BEFORE the suit was made.
