I am considering moving from my AT&T 386 Unix SVr3.1 to one of these
operating systems because they come with OS source code.

I know one is free and the other is not, but I would like to know how
the two differ.

I am a programmer/consultant, and am considering this for my home 386
machine, which I use as a new feed and for programming.
