You'd probably get more help if you post in the correct newsgroup.  Post
in comp.os.linux not the 386BSD group.  I doubt many people here would
care to hear about Linux questions.

You can bring up a complete system on floppy.

2MB at the minimum, 4MB for useful work, 8MB for X.
