I have some information that might correct this problem although I would rather not start any false rumors by posting until it has worked at least one location. I posed the question to the Novell compat group where I work and they think they know how to fix as they initially ran into similar trouble. But then, Novell is not BSD. Please include a description of the failure you are seeing, your primary drive type and dimensions (head/cyls/meg), version of BSD and which SCSI driver you are using, and host system and CPU type.
