One month ago, I posted a message regarding 3c503 problem.

Thanks to those who had shared experience with us.

My proble was the 3c503 failed to pass the share memory test during ecprobe.

Then 3c503 cold not be recognized by te kernel.

ec0: share memory error(device conflict?)

Then problem was sovled by disabling the DECOUPLED REFRESH OPTION in

the advanced CMOS setup fo Symphony Chip set.

But I don't know what DECOULED REFRESH OPTION is.

There are other setup that I don't understand too.

There are:

I/O Recovery Time (SYSCLK) : 0 or 1

Extended ALE : Enable or Disable

Timing Paremeter Selection : Extended or Normal

Does anyone could explain a little bit here ?

Thanks.
