It is about $1000, and they recently came out with a new version. There has been talk of legal problems with AT&T suing BSDI in an attempt to "consolidate" (take over) Unix, but now that USL was bought by Novell, USL does not seem to be as obnoxious as under AT&T. While this is still an issue (will be in courts for years), thanks to Novell, the issue is quieting down.
