Don't worry - I have been very cautious with my selection of programs
to compress. (I live in fear that I will accidently compress gzip!).

BTW it has performed flawlessly so far. (I have compressed nearly
all of /usr/local/bin and /usr/bin so far - excluding anything I
consider vital or anything that runs set-uid). Alas I forgot to
record the change in free space.... (but I did get the sources
installed :)
